Four Ships came from their planet - the fourth one in distance from their double - star.
Some of them looked much like us. They could speak like us - most Earth languages. They wanted to live among us, but only for a while. But even that they had had not done much of. The mostly stayed in orbit and observed or made small explorations to remote areas.
But one afternoon, a freak storm changed all that. First two students helped one of them and then two teachers joined to do the same.
But the bigger story is how they would help us.

Maybe I'm a skeptic, but I was unconvinced of the "alien's" identity. More importantly, the story has a bigger flaw. Teachers and students would not spend so much unchaperoned time with one another. In this era of pedophilia, it's inappropriately dealt with by the author.Product details

FOUR eBook Elmo Adams Lauren Curtis Reviews
I didn't really hate it;it just didn't grab my attention so I didn't finish it; I didn't feel it would get any better
good writting but the story is more oriented towards kids.
no real tension even when describing military camps or abductions.
Fun for teenagers
Did not like the liberal push, the author kept making, added nothing to the story. Gave up reading it, looks to be a kids book aimed at pushing the same crap the white house pushes.
A light science fiction that could be enjoyed by young readers or adults. A brother & sister are out on a boat enjoying the pleasure of the water when an alien craft lands near them. The young people & two trusted teachers have an interesting adventure with their visitor.
Four is a hopeful look at extraterrestrials and their contact with two young people in Central Florida, The kids realistically request help from two sympathetic teachers in working with our visiting friend to thwart some Middleastern Bad guys. This is a great read for Middle School on up. It mixes adventure, politics, and the realityof today's latch key kids in a very accessible manner. As an added bonus, if you live in Central Florida it's a hoot figuring out where the places mentioned in the book are actually located. (Names have been changed to protect innocent landmarks.)
As an adult I found the story line childish and unrealistic and the illustrations childish as well. I think my kids might enjoy in a few years, but I didn't like it.
Four is an attention grabbing story that is written to a teenage audience. If you can't get your teenager to read, recommend they give this book a try. I bet they won't put it down. The story is about two teenagers who come across visitors from the planet Four. The aliens have been surveying earth and learning all about life on earth - they learned English from watching CNN. The author interjects political and social commentary and often displays a dry sense of humor, describing the architecture of the teenager's new high school as "neo-penal," for example.
Upon meeting the alien, the teenage characters are faced with such questions as Why is he here? How do we protect him? How do we introduce him to people at large? and my favorite hypothetical, If there was one person that we should introduce the alien to first, who should that be? A great dinner or car conversation topic for you and your teenager - a topic that just might get them to talk.
There are many references to historic events and people from the last quarter of the 20th century that is sure to get your teenager referencing Wickipedia. The story is also relevant to other contemporary events. Namely, the frustration with the conflict in the Middle East. The teenage characters and the aliens set out on a mission to end the fighting between two long-term Middle East rivals. Your teenager will find how they go about this both exciting and vicariously gratifying - who wouldn't want to step in with "alien power" and say, "Enough already?"
Maybe I'm a skeptic, but I was unconvinced of the "alien's" identity. More importantly, the story has a bigger flaw. Teachers and students would not spend so much unchaperoned time with one another. In this era of pedophilia, it's inappropriately dealt with by the author.
